On the Road with DCYPHER: Redefining the Future of Foundation

The past few weeks have been an exciting blur of innovation and artistry as I’ve been on the road with DCYPHER, joining their team for the Manchester (Trafford Centre) and London Covent Garden stops on their UK makeup roadshow.

For those who haven’t yet discovered them, DCYPHER is a UK-based beauty brand doing something completely new - creating truly bespoke foundation using groundbreaking shade-matching technology. It’s the world’s first foundation service of its kind, designed to take the guesswork out of finding your perfect match. It really is a game-changer.

Technology Meets Artistry

Working with DCYPHER behind the scenes on their product development has given me a front-row seat to how much innovation is happening within beauty right now. The technology behind their foundation is a game changer - scanning and formulating each product individually to perfectly match a person’s unique skin tone.

But what’s been just as inspiring is seeing how this technology empowers artistry, not replaces it. As a makeup artist, I’ve always believed that beauty should be personal, inclusive, and confidence-boosting - and DCYPHER is delivering exactly that.

Taking Innovation on the Road

On the roadshow, we introduced the brand to thousands of new customers, many of whom had never seen anything quite like it before. Watching people’s reactions as they experienced their personalised shade for the first time was something special - that “wow” moment when they realise their foundation really is one of one and the energy at each stop was incredible.

Looking Ahead

I’ll continue working with DCYPHER going forward, helping to develop product around their products as they grow. It’s a brand that’s not only vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable, but genuinely forward-thinking - and it’s been such a pleasure to play a small part in their journey.

The future of foundation is here - and it’s completely custom! Have you tried them yet? Their easy to use website will guide you 100% of the way to creating your own custom foundation shade. Let me know what you think!
